SSR Competition wheels

Before the Great Hack of 01, someone posted pictures of these wheels on their FD to check brake clearance. Could you repost the picture? More pictures if you have them would be nice.

Seriously thinking of buying these rims.

Thanks,

Texas7, Sorry I can't help you with your SSR question but check out these rims. Do you know who makes them and what they are? There under the topic: anyone know if 295/35/18 will fit in the rear of an FD?

My brother just got these for his Fiero. I'll try to post pics in the next few days.

I'm interested in those rims too, the weight is listed as an amazing 14.4lbs for 17x8 and 15.5lbs for 17x9. They are only about $350 each at tirerack, does anyone know what offsets are available on these?

Nathan, heres what I found out:

17x81/2 @ 42mm available April 13,
17x91/2 @ 42mm available April 27

Both sizes guarranteed to fit.

17x8's are available now.

Wonder if 17x91/2's will fit all around, since I have coilovers?

Forgot to mention, 17x91/2's are $409, 17x81/2's are $389.

I asked about weight, he (Larry ext. 221) said all he had were shipping weights. Get this, 16lbs.!!

Awesome,
Maybe these wheels will be in my future. Unfortunately, I doubt the 17x9.5 will fit up front, having coilovers won't help since the 42mm offset doesn't move them inward enough to take advantage of the extra space. Did you get confirmation that the 17x8.5 will fit upfront?

Yes, the 17x8.5's are guarranteed to fit in front. The 17x9.5's are also guarranteed to fit in back.
