SSR Competition or TE-37?
SSR Competition or TE-37? what do u guys think?
SSR Competition: Lighter and cheaper than TE-37
but it seems that easy to bent
TE-37: Popular, strong, good looking
a little bit heavier than Competition and
expensive
Any suggestion?

Really depends. IMHO, the SSR Comps were meant to be race-only wheels, just as the Volk CE28Ns are intended to be race-only...
Aesthetically the SSR Comps edge out the TE37s.
Now if we're talking SE37Ks versus SSR Comps, then the SE37Ks are the "hands-down" winner, and I ain't just posting this cuz, maxcooper has a set of throw-down, anti-bling bling black SE37Ks
BTW what's this talk of SSR Comps being fragile? Sk8world, are your Comps doing ok? Mine were ok with race duty only, and I tended to run over candy stripes at speed?
Me thinks the SSR Comp fragility is an artificial concern with no real empirical data from ACTUAL FD OWNERS WHO'VE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE COMPS????!!!!!
As always, buy what you like, and be HAPPY you bought them

The SSR Comp fitment of choice will be 8.5 fr and 9.5 rr x 17, 42-mm ET all around. The best fitment for Volk TE37 or LE37T of choice would be 8.5 fr and 9.5 rr x 17, 40-mm ET all round. Tire choice would be 225/45-17 front and 255/40-17 if you want to stay within the stock overall tire diameters. If you want slightly taller tires, then 235/45-17 front and 265/40-17 rear...
ARD T2 can help with either of these wheel choices, along with tires...

I've been trying to get in touch with Rishie for a month or so about some TE-37s. I thought my PMs might be broke or something. I was looking to get either some 17x7s or some 16x8s in gunmetal for my talon.

FWIW, I've been trying to contact Rishie through private messages, and I have not read any recent replies?
