Springs?? Need some help
Currently I have Bilsteins with H&R springs, but that is waaay to stiff and low for my use and roads. So I have been thinking of getting OEM shocks and set some nice springs on them.
I'm primarily looking for the Eibach Pro Kit, but I cant seem to find them anywhere (new that is). If anyone knows of shops that ship international, please tell.
Is there any good choices similar to them? Not too stiff and not lowering more than around an inch. Is RacingBeat a good option? MazdaTrix has them, and they used to have a spring rate chart aswell, but they seem to have removed it for some reason :S
Any help appreciated
Edit: It's a 93 FD, R1 Euro model.

I just bought a new Eibach Pro Kit from Advanceautoparts.com. They were around $260 USD.
I found them by searching www.eibach.com for the RX-7 spring kit part number which is #5525.140
I searched yahoo.com under the shopping tab and found them at advance auto parts.

Or they are also listed here

I had Koni yellows wrapped in RS*R downs-prings for about a year, and they felt near stock. If your car is an R1, I'll bet that combo is about what your car was like from the factory. RSR makes two kinds of springs for an FD, Down and Race. Get the down springs if you can find em.
If you put a set or lowering springs on your stock shocks, the shocks won't last long. Koni Yellows are a great choice, not as stiff as Bilsteins, but built better than KYBs. I'd still be running that combo if I hadn't found such a great deal on my current suspension.
You can find the Konis for about 600 bucks and the RSR Downs (if you can still find them) will probably be about 200
EDIT: here's a short thread comparing RSR Downs to H&Rs.

Eibach and H&R springs will place the car at about the same ride height. Eibach seems to be just a hair lower up front. You may want to consider the Tein H Tech springs. The Racing Beat springs are pretty low also.
It could also be your shocks. Which model Bilstein shock do you have - Sport or HD? Bilstein's sport setting is usually very stiff valving that makes the ride feel harsh.

Thanks for the input. I'm kindoff leaning towards Illuminas with RB springs, they aren't that stiff and dont lower the car as much as the other springs. Anyone tested this setup?

Another option is Tanabe GF210's.
spring rate, 5.3 f 4.2 r (about 20% stiffer than stock)
lowers 1.3 f 1.2 r
i daily drive them and they are quite comfy, even with stock shocks.

18x8.5 with 235/40/18 +35
19x9.5 with 275/30/19 +45
the fronts are slightly too tall so they rub a little on the outside of the front fenders (mild roll) but only over big bumps... with a proper full roll, and better sized front tires (should have gone 225/40 or 245/35 or something like that, they would not rub.
also wish i had gone +35 in rear... the +45 tucks pretty well, one day when im not lazy ill add some longer studs and a spacer.
