I know somebody makes them, I just cant remember who? I have H&R right now and still have alot of space between tire and fender.

yes I would love coilovers but my pockets have holes in them and all my money fell out when I blew motor and turbo
So its not worth going there with just springs.

If you have koni yellow shocks, you could lower it an additional 3/4" with the adjustable perches, and still use your H&Rs. I did this when i originally installed my set w/ eibach prokits. At the time i had 17x9's all around w/ 245/40's. Boy did my car look cool sitting still. So low it scraped over speed bumps, ZERO fender gap. Drove like ****. Had to bring it back up. Thing is, without the higher spring rates that coilovers offer, you can't run it that low... unless you ONLY want the car to look cool.

I wouldn't say it stays the same... its a tradeoff... coilovers offer better handling characteristics on high-speed corners like you'll only see on the track, and allow you to run the car lower without crashing over bumps and rubbing fender-liners... but they are stiffer and a little more harsh over small bumps/ruts.
