spring rates

im really interested in spring rates for the FD. i plan on using Ground Control cause they are that good to me, and for the price unbeatable. i have used them on my honda and love them, no i am not a ricer, but a racer nut. not straight line either. i am thinking about getting the GC's with a 600/450 rates f/r. what do you guys think. i know that it may be a bit much for street, but can anyone give me insite on this. i plan on also running koni yellows until i can learn to play with bump and rebound.

Really stiff makes the car hard to drive. I had 550/450 and switched to 450/250 and the car is much better for me now (easier to drive hard & more forgiving -- way more FUN!). I probably need to go a little stiffer in the rear, though, like 300 or something. This is with GAB super-R shocks.

so i take it that the 600/450 is a bit too much. im still debating on what to get. id rather have a car more devoted to racing than street anyways. i did the same with my honda like i earlier stated. i was running 400/600 f/r with no problems. it was a bit more harsh than a normal honda, but it was very streetable. maybe ill go 500/400-350 im not quite sure. wish i had someone to give me a ride in their car. ill be looking into it more though. new springs are only 50/each from GC so that is no biggie. i may originally try the stiffer set up then move down if too much.

I am beginning to think that my 550/450 setup was just too stiff in the back, but that 550 fronts are okay. Maybe something like 600/375, or 550/300, or 550/350 would be fine.
