spring rate and ride height Q's

Ok OK OK i am a noob.BUT i did search all arround and i couldnt find what i needed. I am custom ordering springs for my 88 tII and i have some questions. First off i need to find out a good spring rate for the car not to stiff and but not soft, what is the lenght of the spring, and how much will it lower the car. I love the way the FC's look slammed but none of the springs on the market lower the car that much. Last can i get some picks of your cars with lowering spring...thanks alot.

Where are you ordering these "custom" springs?
If it's through Ground Control, talk to their reps - they know the FC pretty well.
If you're talking to OBX, don't bother.

You cannot slam the FC chassis to the ground.
Do a search to find out why.
There was a recent thread on this.

You cannot slam the car into the weeds.
This induce huge negative camber in the rears that cannot be adjusted out very easily.
This huge negative camber eats rear tires.
You will be replacing rear tires in WEEKS.

GC will recommend about a 300F / 225R spring rate - in lbs-inch rates.
This is their "soft" set-up.

the only reason why it makes a "clinking" sound is because i dont have the medal cuplers on top of the spring, its just the rubber not giving, so the coils cant turn freely
