Shocks for 3rd Gen

I have a '93 rx7 with 47,000 miles. I want to replace the shocks but want to know what most people put on there cars and why. I know I only have 2 or 3 choices other than oem.

Any in-put will be welcom.

As usual, this depends on what your objective is. Need more info, use, budget, DIY or shop install.

If it's primarily for street use and/or minimum autox or track, I'd recommend Tokico Illuminas (with Eibach springs), relatively inexpensive with some adjustability. If you are also autoxing or tracking the car, get a coilover set.

But check the rules for the class you intend to run. Coilovers for example are not allowed in SS class for autocross.

More shock info

You asked for more info. I don't plan on doing a lot of racing just a Sunday driver and to the track once in a while. I'm looking for the best handling suspension without spending an arm and leg. I know I'm looking at $400 to $500 just for ride control before looking at coil changes.
So, for this application what would you guys reccommend.

Tokico Illuminas and Eibach Pro-kit springs. With 47K miles on the car, the OE springs are still probably OK, but might as well do the swap with the fresh shocks, IMO.
