Shock and Spring Decisions on an FC
Shock and Spring Decisions on an FC
So a buddy of mine recently installed some KYB AGX's on his 87 GXL, using the stock springs. He let me drive it for the first time ever, and I was purely amazed. Not to mention, the W-compound Azenies got me as well. Then I hopped back in my FC with stock suspension and felt like ****...
So a while later I found a guy with some KYB GR-2 non-adjustable's with Racing Beat Springs that he said he'd sell me for $250. They haven't been on his FC long either. I've looked around on ebay and racingbeat.com, and the shocks go for around $250 new and the springs $210 w. racingbeat. So I know I'll be getting a good deal.
But my question is, would that set up be good for just normal street driving with a good bit of 'spirited' driving daily? Or should I look for something else?
Thanks,
-Brett
