Well I guess I should have clarified. They are under new ownership. Fikse is now owned/run by another large wheel company many of you will know about. I can't say where but you will find out eventually. All the machines/wheel designs were purchased by them and they plan to keep production going just like it never stopped..

I'll speak to my friend who works there and find out if they plan to do some pricing adjustments.

If you can wait a month you will be able to. The new website should be up soon. Unfortunatley I have been sworn to secrecy, otherwise I would just tell you.

Fikse is under new ownership, based in British Columbia. The wheels will be made in BC too.

I don't know the startup timeframe or any other details. When that's figured out I'm sure there will be some sort of announcement.

Cheers,

My sources tell me that these guys are the ones who bought Fikse:

http://www.kodiakracingwheels.com/index.html

They're getting up to speed slowly and will start filling orders in March timeframe.

Just got that email form Fikse. Glad to hear their designs will be staying (and I can get my wheels repaired if needed). Any ideas if the pricing is going to be slightly more agressive this time arround?

Hate to bring up a thread couple months old but any updates on discounts or pricing?

Reason I ask is because there is a set of used Fikse's for sale but they have some curb rash and I would rather have a perfect set.

Thanks!

Because they're based in Canada, the actual prices to US customers will likely vary based on the exchange rate. If you want pricing, give them a call or send them an email.

From their site: "Due to recent fluctuations in the dollar, prices are subject to change. Please call for exact pricing."

Yes they lit prices in US $, but that's probably more because that's what most web shoppers expect.
