I haven't noticed how rough the ride of my FD was until I moved into my new apartment. There is this part of the road where it's not so smooth and my car is slamming into every tiny imperfection in the road as if I was driving a slammed Civic with cut springs and stock struts. This made me pay more attnetion to the ride quality driving everywhere else, and it's pretty rough, way rougher than my roommate's 300zx. As far as I know the suspension is stock and the shocks are OE factory. I have about 60K miles on the car. Is it time for new shocks? After using the search function, I read somewhere in a thread where the moderator (don't remember who sorry
) said that a particular performance shock actually lowered the car a slight bit? I'm looking at the Tokico 5 ways but may consider something else. I don't think I want to lower the car because it's my daily driver and Oklahoma roads ain't so great.
