Rota slipstreams on an fd offfset?

will 17x8.5 +48mm with 235/40 front and 255/40 rear look right on the fd offset wise? i know the stockers are +50 right

Yes, stock FD wheels have a +50 offset. Although the front fitment is *slightly* smaller than stock, both front and rear tire sizes w/ +48 will work.
