that's weird... Maybe Rota has done something to their slipstreams recently...

I have a set of slipstreams for my old honda, 15", bought them about 4 years ago. The first thing I did when I got them was throw them on the scale - 14lb.

lol either your information is wrong or my slipstream is a knock off of another knock off

I havne't personally weighed a Spoon SW388, but Spoon advertise the 15" to be only 8.5lbs!!

This is from a Group Buy on the Elise forum for Slipstreams:

You should be able to run 205/50-15's up front and 245/45-16's in the rear without rubbing.
Spoon may be in the 8.5-9lbs for the 15" wheels, however Slipstream's 12.5-13lbs is still not bad given the price. I would also wager that 90% of the people on this forum or most others wouldn't be able to realize the weight difference in their driving.

Your scale might not be accurate, the width might be different, the offset might be different, all that can add up to it giving you a different weight. Still, a 14lb 15" wheel isn't that bad.

Slipstream 15 x 7.5 = 13.3 lb http://www.good-win-racing.com/Mazda...t/60-1372.html

Goodwin weighs the wheels themselves, as some manufacturers weights have proven to be unreliable.
