Rota DPT Offset?
I am looking at getting a set of ROTA wheels due to budget limitations and love the 10 spoke pattern on these. Remind me of the Advan RS wheels.....My question is the offsets. I have coilovers all around and racing bushings.
What I am really after is just a daily driver and occasional winding road driving. I like to have a flush look and as low as I can go with semi fender roll. I am thinking 18X9 fronts and 18X10 rear.
My question is what offset and tire size to be fairly safe with fender roll. Here are the wheels I am looking at:
18x9.5 Rota DPT - Hyper Black (5x100x114.3/e35/73) Wheeldude.com - Professional wheel dealer.

I can offer you some help, seeing as I've just gone through the gamut of ROTA wheel fitting on my car (see my thread here, basically asking the same question you're asking, right through to the end: https://www.rx7club.com/suspension-w...lease-1041582/ )
I would encourage you to consider the DPTs in an 18x9.5 +35 offset, with something like 245/40/R18 or 235/40/R18 if you prefer a little bit of the "stretched" look to your tires, and if you're looking to go low and get them to fit under there.
Have a read of my thread. I just finished bolting them on today in fact. I would run +35 offset, no lower than +30 offset at most for a daily driver, otherwise you might collide with the outboard fender lip.
Putting aside the design of the spokes, the basic dimensions of my ROTA P45R2 wheels (18x9.5 +35) are identical physically to the DPTs. Only thing I cant help you with, is the clearance of the wheel spokes brushing against the brake calipers, but I doubt this will worry you. If you choose 18x9.5 +35, you will be able to run 1/4" thick spacers to get away from the calipers if the spokes are too close, but my feeling is that it will be absolutely fine.
The wheels you linked to on Wheeldude, will fit on a standard FD with 245/40/R18 tires and run all day every day as a daily driver, without question or problem. Knowing what I know now, I would be confident to add those suckers to my cart and complete checkout, knowing that I have the exact same size wheels on my FD out in my driveway, and they fit perfectly.
That is what I can offer you in experience, if you have any other queries, just ask myself or 'airjordan' as he runs the same size wheels too, albeit with a different tire size to what I recommended (his car is the red FD in the thread I linked you above).
Hope that helps. I know how mind-racking choosing tires and wheels online can be. I spent the better part of the last month going through it and just finished today
Also, dont let people give you grief about the "ROTAs are not strong enough/the designs copy other manufacturers/they're too cheap/cast vs forged" business. They work fine on the street for a lot of people, and they work fine on most time attack cars and other more serious cars. Fear not, the quality has improved over the earlier wheels.

Ok I am looking at this option for my wheels. Can someone please tell me if this would look flush with fender.
ROTA DPT Flat Black all around.
Front 18X9.5 35 offset with 245/40/R18
Rear 18X9.5 22 offset with 245/40/R18
Fenders will be rolled and tein street basis coilovers adjusted to ensure clearance.
