Thumbs up Rims on the way!

They're on the way, now that they're 'officially' released! I was hoping to get them awhile back, but had to wait for Enkei to release them at SEMA ... they're new for 2006. Getting a set of 4 in 18x9.5 45mm offset.

Bling! Whadaya think?

NICE! Good to see Enkei making FD-friendly offsets again, too.

Any idea on the weight of those? Thats exactly what Ive been looking for for my FD. DO you happen to know if they will be offered in any different colors, such as black centers with the polished lip?

I agree, and that is originally what I wanted to my FD, but I dont want to drop $3k on wheels, and they are impossible to find used in the size/offset I want. Enkeis are usually very reasonably priced, and IMO have great quality ( on some models anyway... they make some junk also )

Found weights on Enkeis website. For the 18x9.5, they are 23lbs each. Not that bad I guess. What size tires do you plan on running, and what suspension setup do you have?

Also, are they a true multi-piece wheel? I hate the bolts on the lips if they are fake..

Not sure about cost, but they do not make 19s in any FD friendly offsets.

Those wheels look really good. They do remind me of the Work wheels though.

Well, now I'm being told by them that they will not be stocked in the US and are not available for sponsorships ... grrr. So now it's back to the RPF1 typeRC, which won't even be restocked until February.

At SEMA they acted like they wanted to get me a set of the new RP03's, new wheel - market it on sposored cars. But apparently they changed their mind. It seems like they've been having issues keeping up any sort of supply for some time now.

So now these are what I'm getting, unless you still have something else for me Rishie :

I got something for you bro. We just gotta be fair to the sponsors so I just don't want to muddy the water and want to make sure you don't sell the FD in like 4 months, hehe.
