Rims for Pettit flares? Need recommendations..

Hey guys,

Sorry for the silly question, but search is broken.

I'm really interested in the Pettit fender flares, but I have no idea what width rims (either 17s or 18s) to buy for the front and back once I do this. Also, I'm assuming that this is going to reduce the number of rims that I can purchase alot.. so does anyone have any recommendations? At this point I'm thinking about white rims to go with a darker blue exterior. Could use some opinion on that too, or pictures of anybody has any..

I really like the rims on this car with flares.. maybe just to give you some idea of pretty much what I'm talking about..

Those are Forgelines, and available through Pettit (and they'll know the sizes). You're pretty much looking at modular wheels (like Forgeline, Fikse, Kenesis, or HRE) That can basically be built to your spec. (for a price). I'd just get the specs from Pettit, when you order the flares.

Good luck getting a straight answer from Pettit hehe. (though I called so many times, they probably got tired of me calling and went an got the info afterwards. This was a year and 1/2 back though, when the flares first caught my eye)

Couldn't beat it out of Forgeline either. Everytime I called, I got the same line - "we send many sets to Pettit, and don't have the time to look it up". Basically, if you not going to buy our $1000-per-wheel wheels, we don't have time for you.

The pic above is of SPO-RX7s car, and he indicated to me once awhiles back his rears are 18X12 +25. Not sure of tire size.
