Replacing stock suspension

since i dont have the $ for the suspension i wanted i had to get a used set because mine went bad..... but i need to know is there a write up on how to remove the suspension and put it on?

The FSM is pretty detailed on the procedure, you will need spring compressors.

The funny thing is that this is the one area where the FSM is actually very clear and provides good steps for R&R.

so what is this FSM?? im got the used shocks with the springs already on there do the springs still need to be compressed

sigh.....the factory service manual which you can download from the stickied tech link thread in the 3rd gen forum

And you will need to compress your old springs when removing them. Did you buy new upper spring mounts? If not, don't bother installing the new (used) parts before you've bought them.

no i didnt buy upper mounts how much are they?
