removing lower arm

Im disassembling my front suspension, and have run into a problem, my brake assembly/entire knuckle is stuck on the lower arm. i looked in the fsm, it says to use the mazda sst, but i dont have one... any suggestions?

I had this problem when I was installing front LCA bushings. What you will need is a ball joint remover to separate the two. If you plan to separate it yourself, make sure you don't mess up the rubber grease cups or you will have to buy a new front LCA as the grease cups aren't sold separately. That, or just bring the entire LCA assembly to any auto repair shop and they'll most likely be able to separate them or you.
