Rear suspension squeaks - which part(s) should I replace? PIC
Rear suspension squeaks - which part(s) should I replace? PIC
Hi everyone I've been having this problem for a few months now and the problem is getting worst as time goes by. The problem is that when I back out from my driveway or when I go over bumps at low speed, I get this squeaking sound (sorta like swinging an old wooden door open & close) from the rear. What could this be? From the diagram, I'm thinking maybe its the rubber sheet that the spring sits on? Or are there something else back there that could cause this squeaks? I'm running stock suspension w/ 61k miles.
PS. I don't think it's bushings related since I've replaced the 6 bushings in the rear that were causing some knocking noises. Any ideas or input will be appreciated. Thanks.

ArchangelX: did you replace yours with stock ones or did you go with aftermarket ones?
Also, from looking at them I really don't see any leaks on the struts...is there any other way to check them just to be sure that is the problem?
