Ready for lighter wheels...
Where's a good place to get some TE-37's and other lightweight wheels like CP-035's, etc. I'm probably just going to get 2 for now till my tires wear some more, as I have 18X8' on all 4's and will be moving to 18X9's for the rear.
For the front I would need +35-40mm offset.
For the rear I would need +30mm offset.

Get Enkei Rp01. For the $$ they are really dam light. Most of them are under 20lbs and at under $200 each that is a great bargain.
Besides, you can have me powder coat them before u mount the tires on. Just buy it through Rishie and I'll do the powder coat.
Also, if u really want lighter get a 17" rather then a 18" rim. The other advantage besides cheaper tires and rims is that u get a bigger selection of tires including a032r and other DOT slicks.

I'm more into cornering than drag...
I'll take a look at the Enkei's, but I'm leaning towards wheels that are more like 15-17lbs. $$$

The 16's did the best followed by 17's
the reason why i elected with 17's is that i wanted to get wider rims and tires.
i think 17's do better then 18's since they seem to have a slightly more predictable and gradual loss of traction. where my experience with 18's = traction to the end and then it just snaps loose.
18's are so low profile that if u hit uneven surface in a turn u can pop ur tires off or loose overall control.

I'm doing this preliminary looking for 2 18's as all 4 of my tires are still good.
Ideally, I'd like to find some TE-37's in 18X8 f9or the front and 18X9 for the rear running 225/40's and 255/35's but I just did a search and it appears that the TE-37's only come in 7.5" width in 18's.
I want to stay 5 or 6 spoke so that I can clean the inner side of the wheels.
I looked at the RP-o1's - good value but the style doesn't do anything for me. Thanks though...

SSR Competitions are like 14lbs for a 17x8.5" wheel and are under $400 a tire at most retail places.
You can probably get them for cheaper, then again, they arent very 'bling bling' wheels.
