Question Brake Size On A Second Gen?

Hey, I was just wonder what the size of the brake rotors/discs are on a second gen, like GXL or something. They any bigger than 10" in diameter? Im going to be putting 13" rims on my car and I need to know if they are going to be small enough to fit inside the rims or will I have to find some smaller discs to put on there.
Thanks for any help.

GXLs had 10.9s 4 piston brakes up front, 10.7 Singles in the rear. I don't think the single piston fronts from the base were much smaller. Why are you going to such a small diameter wheel? Drag slicks?

Yeah I wanna put drag slicks on the car.

I don't think you can put anything less than a 15" on the front. The brake caliper is in the way. The rear my be different but I don't think so. The 2nd Gen's with the 4-lug suspension had factory 14" rims so that might be an alternative for you. Just swap the rear brake assemblies out, but then the brake portioning valve will not like what you have done. That could make the brakes unreliable and if your drag racing brakes are very important after you go 1/4 mile. Hell, brakes are important all the time. You might as well just go with a 15" rim and change the rear gear ratio to a 4.30 or lower.

I no help at all, am I?
