Re-chroming wheels

My girlfriend wants to get her stock wheels on her 99 VR4 re-chromed. They are really a mess. The wheels themselves are in good shape, but the chrome is falling right off. Does anyone know of a place in the CT area that could do something like that. I imagine you would have to get them bead blasted first, and then chromed.

I was also wondering about powder coating too. Can you get a chrome/polished like finish with powder coats?

Thanks!
