Question Radial misalignment?

Alright guys,
New tires. SP8000's 245/45/16's all the way around on my stock 3rd gen rims. I've put about 1600 miles on them so far.
It's developed a steady pull to the left(not a "heavy" pull, but enough to be a distraction at freeway speeds).
The car did not pull to the left like this before the new tires.
I've just had a four wheel alignment completed at a reputable local alignment shop. The car is all lined up to factory spec's. The right rear axle shaft was off shortly after the tires were replaced, in order to replace a broken stud (I'm just throwing that in there -don't know how applicable it is given the fact that the alignment shows ok).
I've tried playing with the air pressures - all tires identical pressures. I've tried rotating the fronts to the back and vice-versa - no difference (I know they're directional guys).
I got the tires from Discount Tires. They seem to think that the problem is my car. The guy at the alignment shop says there is nothing wrong with the car and thinks one of the tires may be the cause.
The only other thing I can think of to do is to swap out the rims on my mate's 3rd gen and see if the same pull exists.

Any other ideas or suggestions fellas? I welcome all comments please!

Thanks!
GEB

it's probably from the road crown. a corectly aligned "proformance" car will move to one side as the toe will be set even on both sides. normaly when you align an avg car you make them different to hold the car stright, since roads are angled to the side. for max cornering you'd want them even.

or they could have just done it wrong
