Racing Hart CPO-35

Does anyone have these on an FC? I want to see how they look. Also what is the best price you have seen for some 17s, preferrably like 17x7 front, 17x8 in back or close. Thanks alot.

Rishie--What widths and offsets are available for the FD (17-inch diameter)? I especially like the high polished versions

I'm looking for 9.5 x 17 with 2-inch (~51 mm) offsets to run 275/40-17 Hoosier R3S03s all the way around for the track. I hear that the CP-035s are riduclously light for their sizes? I assume they'll be on par with my current SSR Comps--16 lbs for the 9.5 x 17?

After having the 255/40-17 Yokohama AVS I's on 9 x 17 SSR Integral A2s (45-mm offset) all the way around on the road, I've decided that I'd like to run same sized wheels/tires at all four corners on track as well (only wider to allow for the 275/40-17 Hoosiers)! The FD just handles so beautifully with that setup! I also LOVE the idea of being able to maximize tire wear with the added flexibility in rotations (Hoosier are EXPENSIVE!).

PM me for estimates on cost for the CPO-35 in the sizes/offsets I'm interested in.

My other option is Forgeline RS Comps in 9.5 x 17, 51 mm all the way around. They're a bit heavier at 19 lbs, but extremely STRONG!

Thanks!

Manny Lozano

I got hookups with a shop that can custom order offsets from Hart Wheels in Japan (thx, Astro!!!). I'll be ordering the 17x9.0 CP-035 in 45mm offsets.

I'll post prices Monday...he sez he'll get me updated pricing and ETA Monday. Since they're custom offsets, it'll take 1.5 to 2 months for delivery.

I'll keep you guys posted.

Thumbs up My future rims also

But I can't decide on 18x8.5 & 18x9.5's or 18x9 & 18x10's?
Since my car is lowered now, if I go too wide they will rub.
I have JIC coilovers to fit the width/backspacing ok. I think tire choice may be another concern.
Any suggestions?

Go with 9 and 10 x 18s with 45 to 48-mm offsets, if that offset is available...

I saw the CP035 in white on a white convertable FC turbo in Japan about 3 weeks ago looked very nice.

I would like to see how the CP035 in gold would look
on a red or black T2

anyone got any picks?

or can someone photo shop some?

i know someone who had these wheels sent to them for test fitment by racing hart (cp-035r) with the brilliant buff finish. the sizes they designed for the rx7 are 18 by 8.5 front and 18 by 10.5 in the rear. if anyone is interested in purchasing them let me know. they are $2200 for the set of 4 i believe. email performanceinmind@comcast.net for more info.
thanks

Call the tirerack, they will give you the info you are looking for.
I know SSR (Speed Star Racing) has a website someplace, but for the life of me I can't find it! I was on it a few weeks ago, and now can't find it, if I do I will let you know.

I have those SSR Comps wheels pictured shod with Hoosier R3S03s.

The 8.5 x 17 Comps are 15 lbs, the 9.5 x 17s are 16 lbs. Hoosier tire sizes are 245/45-17 and 275/40-17. Great combination on the high speed road courses, with just a hint more understeer, than my same-sized-tires-all-the-way-around road setup--255/40-17 Yokohama AVS I's on 9 x 17 SSR Integral A2s.

HEy SleepR1,

do you have a pic of the wheels (SSR COMP) on your car?
I"m assuming its a FD right?

Does anyone have a pic of that wheel on a FC other then the stupid pic on tirerack d\that doens't do justice to the wheels or the car.

Thanks
