Quick tire size question..

I currently have some 18x9.5 et 43. I was thinking of going with either a 285/30/18 or a 275/35/18 to keep some sidewall as I have more space in my rear fender well than my fronts...

My question is has anyone ever gone with a 285/35/18?

Would that fit? I wanted maximum traction with a bit more sidewall than I have now to take up some of that space.

Just curious if anyone has these....

Also currently looking at some Toyo Proxes T1s and T1r's.

Anyone have these? would like a review if possible.

Check the suspension/wheel section for fitment. I like my T1-R's. Good performance at a reasonable price. The T1-S has been discontinued, and may be hard to find. The T1-R is it's replacement.

285 is too wide for a 9.5" wheel. In any case, 285/35 would be way too tall. I would run a 265/35, but many people run a 275/35.

I have 265/35's now and seem stretched on the 9.5 (which actually measures 10.5)

I am guessing the 275 then. I want to have a bit more contact patch.

Thanks guys.
