Suspension Set Up Question
I plan to do an auto-x and then a track event. Should I put 245s on the stock tires? More rubber on the road is always good. Any more info let me know. Seems though not to many people make the 245x50x16, can it be 245x60x16???? Also what springs do you guys recommend for springs? I plan to go with Springs, and then Koni adjustables
Let me know what you guys suggest for tires.

If you want a decent setup for less money, try the Tokico's and the RSR Race Springs.

If you go with Koni Adjustables for about $600, then some springs for about $200, you are almost at the same price the the above coilover setup without the same amount of adjustability.
I know MANY guys who have used that setup for years (on and off the track). It's the best bang for the buck.
As far as Tokico's being cheap, that's the same forum BS as all Autometer gauges not reading correctly....

I will probably have my Eibach springs for sale here soon. Love them, but they don't work well with larger wheels up front (because the front drop is lower than advertised).

Personally I have no need for something like an S03 or KD because I use race tires when I want to drive fast. I have no use for $$$$ tires on the street as I never even begin to drive hard enough to use them, but I do still insist on a tire with above average performance that can daily drive in the rain too. I refuse to spend $200+ per tire for street tires. That said I've been very happy with my Kumho MX tires. The other Kumho street tires are poor but the MX is a good tire IMO.
...I'm out the door right now to go burn more rubber off a set of Victoracers

Once again, that setup is the best bang for the buck. Most people just order straigth from GC: http://www.ground-control.com/

Don't worry if you aren't ready to buy them. He sells a set week (or however long each auction lasts).

I prefer not to go over 1000$ unless its REALLY worth it (excluding tires). I dont mind running stock brakes and rims for now.
I plan to do more track than autocross, but autocross ocasionally if I get hooked, but Im currently hooked on, track, (I go with my friend in his WRX but I know AWD is a whole other animal compard to RWD).
Its going to be a weekend driver mainly, and track. Defintly not a daily though. The road here around Miami are pretty decent, so a rough suspension shouldnt be too bad. The tracks around here if you want to search are Sebring, Moroso, and Homestead Speedway.
Thanks Damian for your input!
