How to define the offset for FC/FD

I knew its a old topic but I really confuse on the offset on 2nd gen FC and 3rd gen FD. The reason that I start this thread because people always say they are selling the wheels for RX7 but never mention is for FC or FD.

Can anyone define the offset questions?? Thanks

What is the best offset for F 8 R 9 and F 8.5 R 9.5 for FC and FD??

The stock offset for FD wheels is 50mm.

I have 17x8.5" fronts and 17x9.5" rears that are both 40mm offset. They fit fine.

It would be better to ask about a specific set of wheels with a specific offset. There is a lot of info about what fits, so few people are going to jump in and lay it all out for you.

ok, the search thing sucks on this page and there are too many people asking the exact same question about offsets. can we put the sizes that will work on a sticky yet or do a few hundred more people have to ask?

it's not you little7, i know its imposible to search for offsets and have to have at least 3 characters in a word (or number).

I've already got FC3S numbers on the website, and there's a rather large thread in here somewhere.

There's a stickie in the NP forum for FD3S by Rishie.
