Look at your bump stops and boot covers. There are one piece of rubber that sits under the upper perch. Usually these are pretty shot (depending on mileage of course).

Also go ahead and remover the ABS sensor from the front wheels, they just unbolt from the back and slide it out. The guy helping me do mine pried down just a tad to much as we were sliding the shocks/springs out and all the slack in the abs line was gone and pulled the wire out of the sensor. I can stop by and help...when are you doing it?

About the ABS sensor. Yes it is one bolt, but it probably won't come out very easy. It is a magnet and so they generally collect metal along with other debris which gives it kind of a weld effect. I would suggest you spray a little bit of WD-40 around the edges of the ABS sensor (and all of the bolts you will be removing) and let it set for a little while to loosen it up a little bit.

You may have to get a rubber or plastic hammer and just kind of tap on the "metal plate" that the sensor is attached to (preferably at the bottom of this "plate") to get it to loosen up. All you really need to worry about is making sure you don't pull the cable too tight. The ABS sensor is just a magnetic cylinder and so by tapping on the little "metal plate" you won't hurt anything.

Another suggestion is that if you have a stock sway bar you should remove the bottom bolt from each side of the bar instead of the bolt that is closest to the control arm. Trying to put the other bolt back in place after you take it out is a royal pain in the a$$.

If you have any questions just reply back here and I will try to respond as quickly as I can. I just changed out my springs and shocks last week and then I had someone help me re-align the car (which I would suggest you do too) so everything is still pretty fresh in my mind.
