Progressive springs are easy to identify visually. The coil spacing will be larger on one end of the spring than the other .... in essence, the progressive spring is really two springs put together. Linear springs will have the same coil spacing across the entire spring. Eibach makes both progressive and linear springs. All of their 2.25" and 2.5" ID springs are linear.
