Questions on rear brake calipers
Questions on rear brake calipers
I'm puttin in new brembo rotors and hawk hps pads and i got the fronts done but when i was taking the rear calipers off i noticed that the calipers were already compressed on the rotors. And the Ebrake was down too. I had to pull pretty hard to get the caliper off of the rotor. Is this normal? And I noticed that i can compress the rear caliper's piston inwards with needle nose pliers; should i compress the piston inwards and if so how much? When I put the caliper back on should the pads be rubbing against the rotor with no brakes applied?
Is there a way to adjust the fronts also? Do i acually NEED to adjust ANYTHING or do they self-adjust when driving or something? Any other tips are appreciated, sorry about all the questions this is my first time changing brakes....

the front s will self adjust you must pump the pedal to get the pads back to the rotors. the rear pistons need to be turned or screwed back in all the way ( turn and push in at the same time )
