Question about sway bar positioning/rotating end links up

I'm installing my Pettit Racing coilovers and having an issue with them contacting the rear sway bars. I have the racing beat sway bars front and rear both with adjustable end links. My question is whether rotating the sway bar ends up so they don't interfere with the coilovers would affect handling in a noticeable way? Currently the car is on jack stands so I jacked up the lower arm a bit and it moves the sway bar away from the coilover.

I've read about the sway bars (shorter mount vs longer mount and diameter) but nothing mentions positioning/rotation of the sway bar. Since the sway bar is basically a torsional unit my assumption is that as long as both ends are rotated similarly it shouldn't change the behavior of the bar. Just wanted to get some clarification before I mess something up by assuming.

Photos of before and after adjusting

The first 2 pics if they loaded are of the shock and sway before adjusting. The sway bar was basically jammed into the height adjuster. The third one is after adjusting. It just touches the shock height adjuster now on jack stands.

From your pics I would say it makes no difference in how the rear bar operates.

I have the same bar, and what worked for me was grinding off the excess metal from the ends of the bar. Leave enough for proper fastening to the link, grind the excess off so the end is rounded, then paint it.

Grinding sounds better than my idea of just cutting that last mount point off...
