Question about rim sizing

I'm looking into getting a set of advan rg rims. possibly 17 x 8.5 in the front and 17 x 9.5 in the rear? anybody know how this will change the driving characteristics of my FD?? I also thought about going 17 x 9 all the way around which wouldnt change the feel much from stock. I also was wandering what offset i should get if I do the 8.5 in the front and 9.5 in the rear? I know if I wanted to have the 9 all the way around i would need to do a +45 offset. well if any one can help me or give me any advice on what they (you) have and like that would be killer.

thanks

Assuming FD3S fitments:

8.5 wide fronts, 38 to 50 mm offset

9.5 wide rears, 38 to 50 mm offset

9 wide all around with 255/40-17 is ideal

If you're only on the street you couldn't possibly hope to ever notice a difference.

It depends on whether you have adjustable sway bar or other stuff and how hard you "abuse" the car on the street. Sometimes I experienced some understeer with 17x8.5F/9.5R on the street. Of course I can always fix it with fiddling with the sway bar.
Go with 18x10.5 all four and put on 305/30/18, that's what I'll do if I were to start over.

18x10.5 seem alittle large for a street car, i know on the track it would perform amazingly. also my wet weather breaking would blow. i'm looking at both solo 2 and it. im not sure which to go with.
