i got my hands on a set of the rz/rs big brakes used....i wanted to rebuild the calipers in them before i install them on my car....i have read that the rear calipers are similar to the normal ones and would use the same caliper rebuild kit and pads....would the rs/rz front calipers use the same rebuild kit as the normal front calipers?...also i have read that the pads are the same....is this true? thanks...

Pads and calipers are 100% similar to the normal ones. I also have RS brakes on my car and when I changed the pads I just used the usual EBC stuff.

The pads shape is the same for the later and earlier calipers.

You'll need a different kit for the fronts. F1Z4-33-26Z. RHD might have them on their website if you can't source locally, ordered a couple of kits from them a while back.

Might be telling you how to suck eggs, don't split the calipers.
