I agree with that.

However, here's something I was told by a rim shop owner. Those dudes who have 4 lug patterns who get adapters to convert to the 5 lug to enable getting wider rims, experience wobble at 80mph and over.

I would think spacing the wheels out an inch or something would also put a lot more strain on the bearings and so forth right?

Yes it does. But no more so than all the other guys running wheels with improper (sticking out the fenders lowrider style) offsets.

My buddies- Father has those on his new Mustang and it was fine over 120mph... It never vibrated at all....

You may have trouble finding an offset to accomidate the already 1" offset its gonna give you...
