Question potenza so2's vs so3's?

so whats the difference between the bridgestone potenza so2's and so3's??

i currently have so2's on my car, but just got some new rims, so i need new tires soon. i am satisfied with my so2's , but a stickeyer tire would be nice. i have a hard time "feeling the limit" with these tires, so to me they are a little on the unpredictable side (but im not the best driver, so that just may just be me). i wouldnt have any problems with another set (but i cant find the s02's in the sizes i need) and it seems that the s03's are 'y' rated as opposed to 'z' rated for the so2's... and i havent heard anything about the so3's.

so im here to ask the difference between the 2's and the 3's, and to solicit your opinion for the best (mostly street) tires.... 235/45/17 front, 255/40/17 rear. basically, if it were your car, what would you put on it?

thanks guys, heath

They don't make the S02 pole-positions anymore, just some of the OE S02's and S02A's.... they were replaced by the S03 pole-position.
