I've decided on volk te37's 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear, its aggressive enough for me, does any one know if the 8.5 up front require any rolling? thanks oh and offsets are +40 all around

What tire are you going to run? a 255/35/18 might require a roll. It's going to be close if you are lowered. If you run a 245/35/18, you won't rub, but not many tire sizes in that size.

In the rear you can run up to 255/35/18 or 265/35/18 easy with no rubbing/fender rolling required. If you go to a 285/30/18, then I am not sure. Might need a roll.

I wouldn't run anything wider than 255/35 or 265/35 on the rear. 255/35 fits a 9.5 perfectly, straight up and down sidewall, no stretch and no bulge. Not sure on the 8.5 though. I don't think you'd need a roll at all with those sizes and offsets.

My first wheels were 18x9.5 +45 front and 18x10 +38 rear, my tires had a slight stretch and I only had to roll a little bit and I did it with a bat back that. The pics are in this thread I think.

I think you'll be fine with those sizes.

Here's mine.

Volk ce28n 10 spoke 17" (i'm a fan of 18 alloy, but tires start to cost a lot more from 17" here in italy)

Car is on RoRo heading for my house then I don't know spec...
Can you help me from this photo?

While waiting for my new wheels, I was messing around with some spare spacers laying around. This spec would be 17x9 +30 with a 275/40/17 r888. It didn't rub and as you can see...nice and flush

Looks like the Burnout side skirts, possibly from Shine, but definitely molded in. Can't tell about the front (obviously lol) and not sure if Shine made the diffuser but it's quite possible. Also has Burnout style fender flares molded in, and the diffuser doesn't look like RE Amemiya style, not sure on the make off the top of my head.

Shine does have that diffuser along with the side skirts its the spec s body kit on thier wedsite. i dont think those front fenders are the burnout kit i thought the burnout kit was a little more flared and not flat on the edge if that makes sense. hope that helps heres a link, this page has the diffuser what looks to be the side skirts and steps. http://www.shineautoproject.com/portfolio/spec-s-aero/

^^^ No they poke cause the offset is wrong, even stretching tyres didn't help. Same wheels come in +38 and it looks just right. Of course it's another story if he is planning on getting wide fenders.

Yeah that looks like the Spec-S diffuser, which is modeled after Sanai (I have the Shine Spec-S body kit, except with a Shine RE-A pro diffuser and now a Shine FEED front bumper), but the rest is definitely modeled after Burnout pieces. Burnout fenders, front and rear, are definitely flat on the edge. That's one of the reasons I'm not crazy about them lol. And the sides look like Burnout too. I know Shine has all that stuff, but it's hard to tell if it's his stuff or the real thing because Shine puts out such quality stuff lol.

this whole thread is such a joke lol

I have 18x10 0 tucking lip under oem fenders and under -4 camber.

Just lower it where it should be on a stretched setup and you can run this under -3 camber np

^that's surprisingly low, what kind of tires are you running?

I know it looks high as f**k but I want to run a wider tire like a 255/35 and I think if the wheel was in 20mm it would be perfect

I run 225/35 on the 10. However, if you're going for 255 on 10 there's no way it'll ever fit with those 10 +18!

Just so there is no misunderstanding, Ericsworld's car has:

F: 18x10 +38
R: 18x10 +18
255/35 all around

I wouldn't, but it also depends on your tire. I have Federal RS-Rs and they run slightly wide. My fenders are rolled flat all around but with zero pull, and the 255's in the rear are as close as you can get without rubbing. Then again, I'm also running minimal camber...

If you are willing to camber more and do a slight pull, you could definitely fit 265s in the rear at 10" +18.

Btw, my wheels are for sale in case anyone is interested
