Arrow Post all with ADR

Because these are good wheels for the price imo, I've been considering getting some ADRs for my FD. They make some decent styles and I want to see some pics of FDs with any ADR wheel setup. So if you all can post some I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

You can get much higher quality wheels for not much more money than ADRs. IMO, ADR's don't belong on an FD.

Okay thanks for throwing this back into brain. That's what I've been hearing when ADR gets thrown into FD talk. I guess I wouldn't consider them after all then. I really want volks or advans. The quest continues, I'll continue searching for the right set. Anyone have Advan Kreuzers on their FD? I need to see some pics. BTW that link didn't work. What happened to RX-7 Club's search feature. It's like we can no longer tell noobs to go use it anymore.

I'm a little confused that you would be considering both ADR and Volk/Advans!

The best reasonably priced wheels I've seen are the SSR line. They are pretty light, well-built, good looking, and cost about $1600 a set in 17". This is the route I would have gone if I didn't run across good used wheels.

I've got Kruezer pics I can email you. They are of CarVersion2's late FD that was destroyed in the Delaware flood

You see, the wheels I really want are Volk or Advans, but lately I've been considering ADRs because of their price. Because I've heard in the past and you have told me that ADRs don't really belong on FDs, I've have changed my mind now about getting ADRs. Now I will go on the route of getting either volks or advans. Understand?

Yes they are super nice and I was so close to making my purchase on a set of used ones.

so, just because ADRs are less inexpensive, you think they dont belong on an FD? that is a bunch of BS! I sure as hell wont be paying $500 a wheel for any car! I have been happy with my ADRs. I get compliments everywhere I go about my wheels....even by people with volk and blitz wheels. And about the weight issue...my ADRs are just as light as most of the top tier wheel companies. check my sign for a pic

The minimum price to pay for a high quality, durable, lightweight wheel is $350/wheel and up. That's the facts, like it or not. Do you honestly think an ADR wheel is the same quality as an SSR, Volk, Fikse, etc.?

That's great. Personally, I could care less if someone else likes or dislikes my wheels.

BS, I've seen the weights posted for several ADR wheels, the ones I've seen are in the mid-to-upper 20 lb range. That's very heavy. Have you actually weighed your wheels?

The bottom line is some people can afford to get high quality wheels and some can't. That's not meant as an insult in any way, believe me. But the fact is that ADR wheels are lower quality than more expensive wheels. Period.

Woah, nice. Is that the sexy style kit on the FC? Is it yours? Where can I find more pics? Now I want an FC.

The rims on that FC are probably Advan Model 5's, not ADRs.

Yes, same style but I'm just being ****.

Still waiting on you to measure how much your wheels weigh. It takes 5 minutes to take a wheel off and get on a scale. Prove me wrong.
