I will be painting my wheels black this winter but just wondering which looks better, black center with silve lip or all black.

I am leaning to all black but just wanted to get some opinions.

It really looks badass both ways, but I think I like the silver lip just a little more cause it defines the car just a hair better IMO. Kinda helps accent the black and white theme. Beautiful car! And props on paying homage to the old school SA's with the fender mounted mirrors!! A+

All black. It goes better with the lines. Where your car has black, it's uninterrupted, for example the hood and wing. All black wheels would help the rims blend in the with wheel wells much better, creating an uninterrupted black area.

 

I wouldve said black/silver lip.....however fc3s kit has a point

If you really want black, get the ones Rishie is ordering. THose have the red enkei symbols on them. Otherwise, just leave your silver wheels alone. They are awesomeness.

 

All black tire/wheels is a current ricer fad and makes your tire/wheel combo just look like a big blob of black. If you go that route, then paint the whole car black.

The polished rim adds contrast. You are using the black spoiler and hood for contrast, so continue the theme for complete harmony!

Just because the masses might like or believe in something, does not make it correct.

 

If the car was a different color, or it was a different wheel, I would agree with you. But with the car being white, I personally dont think a polished lip looks good. Plus, with the 1 piece RPF1s, there is not a defined rim lip, as there would be with a multi-piece wheel, so I would think the polished lip wouldnt look right. Just IMO, of course.
