please help me!!! tire/wheel sizes!!!

im getting custom made work vs-tx rims. 18x12 in the back and 18x10 in the front. i have wide fender kit for the back thats molded on. so now i need your help.

what offset should i get for the front and whats the widest tire width that i can fit without rubbing issues?

the same for the back. being 12" wide, what offset do i need? im also thinking about getting bfg drags in either 315 or 345. which do you guys think i should get? i want the widest tire/wheel combination possible on the back. without any problems.

If you have stock fenders up front, an 18x10 is a close fitment. You will need aftermarket coilovers, +50 to +51 offset wheels, with 285/30 tire. You will have to maintain a decent ride height, not too much lower than stock.

For the rears, I'm guessing you'll need approximately a +25 offset in an 18x12 in order to clear the suspension. This will require a hair over 1-1/2 inch wider fender openings than stock. I believe that is very close to what Pettit runs on their Banzai conversion.

I don't know why you think you would need drag tires with meats that wide in the back. Proper tire sizing would be 335/30 18, although that is 1" taller than stock -- noticeable raising of final drive ratio and speedo error. You could run the BFG drag tires in 315/30 18.

To be honest with on the rear sizing/offset, I would get out there and measure exactly what clearances you have. If you are custom ordering wheels, your vendor should be able to give you a measuring template, similar to what Fikse provides on their website. You don't want to make a mistake -- wrong-sized custom size wheels equals selling them for a loss.

so which is better for the front, +50 or +51? 285 is the widest i can run without rubbing issues during turning the wheel from all the way left to all the way right? ill also be running tein flex suspension so hopefully those are smaller in diameter compared to stock.

im most likely going to run 315 on the rear.

+50 to +51 will work up front. It's 1mm either way -- 1mm closer to the suspension or 1mm closer to the fender. Either would work, I would roll your front fenders though. And yes, a 285/30 is the widest you can go up front. In fact, unless you will be seriously tracking the car, I would go with 18x9.5 +50 offset wheels and run 265/35 18s up front. More clearance and still lots of grip.

The Tein Flex is indeed a 2-1/2" coilover, so it will fit fine.
