Is there a necessary plastic that slips over the strut mountint bolts and sits ontop of the upper strut mount base? My car has koni yellows and seems to sit lower than anticipated for my springs, however I do not have this plastic ring that i see in exploded view pictures. Must this be replaced? How will this affect performance/reliability without thebplastic ring in place?
