YES you need pillow *****!!!!!!!!!!!! i think you shouldbuy the pillow ***** they make a huge difference. i mean come on your car is like ten years old and its got 100+ miles on it. i think that the stock ones are **** now and you need to buy new ones pronto!!
THe OEM pillowballs are desinged for OEM compliancy, I make tower mount caster/camber kits ( =pillowball) for the RX-7 as well, but we found that with a CCD camer mounted in the trunk and under the hood of a neon, moving from the stock R/T neon suspension to a ACR ( american club racer) suspension the tower mount rubber inserts moved close to an 1" which is technically beyond the limit of that material, so somewhere their was a rip forming into a complete tear, same with the zx2, ( identical fronts as the rx-7) we installed our custom made Koni kit with 325lb front and 500lb rear road race setup and ripped up the OEM mounts in 2 laps of mosport.. We should have our caster/camber kits available for sale on the RX7 in a few weeks, just after we release the ones for the mx3/zx2/323 .. THey retail for all 4 corners at $425 USD
