Pic Request: Rims on White FD's!

Hey guys,

I'm gonna be installing my Burnout front & rear fenders within the next year or so, hopefully, and I was hoping for some rim inspiration! I can't seem to find a favorite. I like the Volk VSXX's, Meister SP1's, Advan RZ and RS's, Volk GT-C's and GT-P's to name a few...

18" or 19"....and I'm lookin' to probably go with 245/255 fronts and 285/295 rears most likely. So far it's looking like a +25 offset will offer the best fitment without causing scrubbing issues? Can anyone clarify on that?

Here are some older pics that show the rims I have right now: 18x8 HP Racing Evo's (+38 I think) with 235's..

Thanks for any input, guys!

Chaste White FD's FTW!

What side skirts are those? They look similar to the 99 spec but the front is different. Apexi?

Yup. APEX-i

:]

I think I'm gonna get them re-fitted and molded in to look like they came on the car that way, along with the Burnout fenders too.

What do ya think? I'm going for an "almost stock" but "modern" body line change to my FD.

:P

Maybe I should just get RX-8 rims. lol *cough-gag*

I like the idea of molding them. It will flow a lot better, but I would be concerned about cracking.

Not familiar with those...Brain-fart, perhaps?

Got any pics of them on an FD?

Obviously I'm a little concerned about that too...but I would think/hope that when the body-shop molds them in, that they would take the necessary measures to at least reduce any chance of vibration/movement in them, which would cause creases/cracks in the paint. I think there most paint products used NOWADAYS though have some kind of plastic in them to make the paint flexible enough. Thinking about stock poly-urethane bumpers that get that nice little pop-mark indentation, and the paint doesn't crack or flake...you know?

Ya know...

What if I just went with some 2010 RX-8 rims?

Has anyone else put these on their FD before? I need to look up the size, so I can figure out what size tires I could run...

It seems like they would go along with my "modernized" FD theme that I'm going for...

Opinions?

Wow...after some quick online searching, those particular 2010 R3 rims are either impossible to find, or ridiculously overpriced...

GAY!!!
