PFS vs H&R springs
I'm wonder what I should run with some Koni Yellows the H&R's OR the PFS Springs from my understanding are Eibachs. Keep in mind I'm currently running stock R1 suspension...A side note on that would I have been better off going with gab super R's or koni yellows a good choice. I plan on doing street driving and autox, with some drag...
Thanks

There are a few threads about PFS springs. Try searching. PFS are a little softer spring rate than the H&R and Eibachs and I think they are progressive rate. The ride comfort with the PFS springs was a little better. I used the PFS springs on Konis and they were good. If I autocrossed, I'd go with the H&Rs or Eibachs but it really only starts to make more of a difference when you are putting down competitive times. DamonB uses stock springs on his Konis fwiw.
fyi - I owned both PFS, H&R and have run them on stock and Koni shocks.

I had the PFS on my car, just replaced them with coilovers. They handled very well and were fairly comfortable on the street. From what i've heard, H&R springs are a bit stiffer, which might be better for autox'ing if you're willing to (or want) a slightly larger drop and a bit choppier ride (though not a bad ride at all).
then again i've also heard that Koni Yellows make any spring you have feel more aggressive because of the increased damping rates. So in that case, the PFS spring and Yellow might be a good combination. That sound like a fair evaluation, alberto?

yep. i agree. i liked the way the PFS/Koni combination felt. The H&Rs are a little stiffer but do ride a little choppy. I think the PFS spring is a great choice depending what you're looking for.

Ok how about this I like to feel the road, I have a set of R1 springs, H&R's, and PFS springs, I dont care about the ride quality I just want her to handle like there is not tommorw granted the 7 handles like a gem as is but I'm always looking to improve it... so what spring would you recommend with the koni yellows?
