Painting Suspension Parts?

So I was considering painting some suspension parts. Mainly the front struts. What I want to do is paint them the Bilstein yellow, since I will be installing Bilstein inserts. I was wondering where I could get the proper color and what kind of paint I should use to do this?

Looking for instructions on prepping, what kind of paint, and other materials I need.

you cant even see the struts when theyre on the car, so you could prolly jsut spray them with whatever you find at autozone. i painted mine neon pink lol. just scuffed the struts with a scuffing pad and sprayed away.

Sorry but these kind of things matter to me, I don't really care if you can't see it, people powder coat suspension parts awesome colors and you can't see them. So basically the question still stands, what color am I looking for and is there anything else I need for prepping other the sand paper, like stuff to get grease/oil/dirt off the parts?

Contact Bilstein to see if they'll give you a paint code, they probably will if you tell them what it's for, or take a shock or brochure into one of those colour-match places.

I painted mine red to match the red powdercoat I got on my Re-speed suspension bits, swaybar and R&P kit (red subframe). I also painted the rear stock swaybar and the upper trailing links red. Why? Because I could.

Degrease, Derust, sand, and paint. You shouldn't need any special high-temp paint for strut tubes.
