Tight!!

Man..gunmetal on the stock rims would look sweet on the silver RX-7!!!

The black Mazda emblem on my stockers is scraped off on some, completly gone on the others. You know what would kick butt? Painting the Mazda emblem silver...with that gunmetal.

Would look nice, no? Or..am I going the ricer route..heh..

Anyways, it's Nice!! Nothing like a little bit of ingenuity!!!

Thumbs up

Looks very sharp. Now that I have relegated my stockers to track wheels, I'm thinking of going gunmetal. It'll help hide all the dusting from my EBC Reds

I think gunmetal would look great on just about any color. The only color I would think twice about is on a MB car. on Black, silver, white, red and yellow its YUMMY.

Do you guyst think Flat Black would look good on a Red Rx-7? I checked one out somewhere but I forgot the site. It had a carbon fiber hood, flat black stock rims, and a nice carbon fiber lip. Very clean. If anyone has Flat Black rims on their 7 could you please snap off a few pics and put them up? Thanks.

That's badass man, I have the same style 7 (black, no spoiler, stock wheels). I really want to do that to my wheels now, I am jealous!

Its been almost a year since I installed the leatherseats.com seats. Here is the original thread. I had a 94 with TAN interior. Keep in mind in 94/95, the seats and carpet are tan, the rest of the car is black. So it simplifies stuff. I still painted the doors and dash just to update the color.

I also refinished my wheels, although I now feel that I didn't use enough clear coat. You really need to spray it on thick. 1 can is not enough, even if you aren't doing the insides. Anyway my site has more info.

Anyone have any pics of a silver fd with wheels painted gunmetal. I'm going to refinish my wheels. THinking about powdercoating, cost sounds like it will be the major issue here.
Great thread... glad someone resurrected it!
