OZ's are not light, especially their three piece. The only lightweight wheel they've produced is the Superleggerra.

If looking for lightweight, OZ is not the way to go. Frankly, you'd have to go Japanese. From my experience, the mainstream European wheel manufacturers don't produce lightweight wheels, BBS aside. Even they only have a couple. RK, etc.

I checked out the site and did not see any fitments for the FD or C. Did I miss something.

OZ road wheels are heavy and strong

...certainly not the lightest road wheels available. OZ does make magnesium race wheels, but I don't know of any race applications for the FD or FC Rx7?

YEah. Any rims that look like the F1Cup Corsa Rims and are really light??? I am looking for light rims. 25 LBS does not cut it.
I am looking for 15lbs or less.

Forged Aluminum or Cast Magnesium Alloy

are the only type of metals that will afford lightweight and strength. Most cast aluminum wheels tend to be heavier than Semi Solid Forged, Squeeze-Cast, or true hot-forged aluminum wheel centers. Most forged multi-piece wheels will have spun wheel rims, which affords the same properties as forging.

The only cast wheel I know of that is lightweight is the Kosei K1 Racing wheel. The 8.5 x 16, 37 mm offset wheels I had were, 16 lbs each...fairly even with the stock FD squeeze-cast, 8 x 16, 50 mm offset wheels.

The advantage with the Koseis are the increased track width (37 mm vs stock 50 mm offsets), and the 1/2-inch extra rim width for better support of a 245/45-16 tire. And the Koseis are cheap ($169 each for the 8.5 x 16 retail price plus shipping and tax...from Tire Rack). For God's sake don't buy the white ones! Everyone will think you have Volk TE37s!

Unless you're racing, I wouldn't worry too much about wheel weight. Just know that most 9 x 18 cast aluminum wheels will tip the scales at 28 to 30 lbs each. Don't sweat it, though. You're just cruising with them anyway, right?
