Now to order some studs and spacers.... what size studs should I be looking for anyway? Not sure what the stock length is.

As far as the handling goes, I tend to like cars a little on the loose side. I learned to drive on a BMW 2002, so I am comfortable with what some might consider excessive oversteer. The car's intended to be a fun daily driver, it might see the occasional autocross, driver's school or drag strip day, but not any serious competitive track use.

Absolute grip is a secondary consideration to the car feeling tossable and fun, I guess.

Uggggggg 5Zigen didnt include my 17x10 +25mm on their last shipment to america, fuck! i've been waiting for a month and a half for this order to come in and my shit isnt even on it. They want to know if i can do the +35mm, they recomended that offset in the first place when they looked up my car. Is there any way i can get away with a 17x10 +35mm on the rear?

Had to give them an answer, i went with the +35mm *crosses fingers

Alright, these were some pictues that slammedblk7 sent me a while back. He is running the 17x10's with the +12 offset. It appears that i have enough room to go with the +35mm offset. My only concern is the trailing arm. Again, this is what 5zigen themselves told me to go with for the 17x10 on the 2nd gen.

ok this is so long i cant find what i need to know with wide......... fenders in the rear would a 17x10 with a +42 offset with a 265/50/17 fit?

I got to see a 18" x 10.5", +9 with a 295 / 30 / 18 set-up fits in the back.
There was barely 1/4" of space.
So, I wouldn't go anything more than a 10.5", +15.

Using that as a guide, with the 10.0" wide rim, I dunno how you can go deeper than maybe +20.
Someone claimed a 10.0", +24 fit no problem, but I cannot confirm that.
The numbers states this is impossible.

I put money a 10.0", +35 will not fit in the back.

It would depend on the tire design or how "blocky or squared off" the tire is.There have been a couple of people running those FN01R-C's(+35) with 275/40/R17's so it does work ,albet on the tight side.

Yeah, tires just showed up today, Falken Azenis RT-615's. I'm going to order an extra set of 5mm spacers just in case i'm rubbing just a little bit.

One more quick question - Enkei RPF1's 17x8 front, 17x8 rear, 35 offset all around.

I will need to run 5mm spacers in the front, yes? None in the back? (No replacing studs, yay! ;-)

17x8's are available in 35mm & 45mm offsets, 17x9's in 22, 35, & 45.

PS: Can I squeeze 235's on the front, or is that pushing my luck?

yeah that is my concern i guess i should have phrased my question better with rolled fenders and some arp studs and using a wheel spacer could i make it fit or would it still contact on the inside

They work.That's the exact setup I have.The exception for the fronts is you will need a spacer if you run a 235/40 vrs a 225/45 tire or certain coilovers like ground controls where the collar interferes with the rim lip as opposed to the tire interfering with the spring.The backs fit nice.

Alrighty, here's some fitment questions.... Will these fit, and if so, how well?

17x9+38 front, 18x9.5 +45 rear
17x7.5+38 front, 17x8+31 rear
16x7+25front, 16x8.5+25 rear

I'm going to try for a 245 up front on a 17x8 +35 wheel with a 5mm spacer on it *crosses fingers* I'll let you know when the wheels show up.

How well will the 16x7 +25 and 16x8.5 +25 fit an FC? Will they still be sunk into the fenders, or pretty flush? Anyone got any pics?

Hey Ted, I've got some 17x8's on my car and I thought that the range is +35 to +30 to have them work without interferance. IIRC my rims are +31 and they don't rub on the inside rear as your earlier post says. I got these tires and wheels based on this post and think they are great. 17x8 is tight on the front outside though.

Yeah, since we're strictly talking about the wheel specs, it's hard to give you a good idea with specfic tires sizes.
I would think with a 225 / 45 / 17 there should be ample room, but I have a feeling you're running 235's or wider?

Nope, 225/45-17's. They fit great and corner better too. I went with sticker tires not just wider one's. Thanks again for answering my info Q's at the time.

I've played around with quite a few fitments and what I currently have is a pretty easy fitment that requires only a little fender rolling if your car is lowwered quite a bit.
