Man, people need to learn how to budget properly. It seems like every day on this forum another person overspends on expensive huge wheels and can no longer afford to get tires that fit.

can we get back to the topic of the thread instead of bashing on eachother? I've done some searching for wheel sizes on various threads and wanted to run this by you guys. Will the following work with stock fenders?
Front:
18"x8" +30mm (with 225/45-18)
Rear:
18"x9.5" +35mm (with 265/35-18)

Or is there anything else that I should be looking at? Thanks!

You need to read the forum rules that prohibit profanities and personal attacks, and then you need to learn to take a joke, because in the end that's what you and those like you are to the rest of us.

Fronts should fit perfect with stock fenders.

Rears "should" fit... Depending on how much camber you run, the quarters might need to be rolled.

Sport Max 962's in Gun Metal : 17 x7 +38 and 17 x9 +35 . I have Kumho Ecsta ASX's in 225/45-17 and 245/45-17. These are the sizes recommended on her a few weeks ago. Do you think I should run a small spacer in the front to make it more flush.

I haven't had a chance to drive it with the new suspenion and wheels, my new differential is waiting on a dock in boonton for me. I hope once I drive it will settle a

Front 17x8 +22
Rear 17x9 +27 or +17

This gonna fit under stock FC bodywork/suspension? It's been a long time since I've slapped wheels on an FC.

Overfenders probably, unless you follow the new trend of high camber angles, which i don't understand.

Fronts will stick out just a bit. Rears will be close. 17x8 + 30 is flush up front.

eh, I think he would be ok.

As long as you roll the fenders and add a little camber, you should be fine.

How about these numbers. I have Cusco coilovers.

The wheels are Advan RGII

front 17x8.5 offset 31 235/45/ZR/17

rear 17x9.5 offset 25 265/40/ZR/17

I am thinking about rolling the inside of the fender lip. I don't want to change the appearance of the fender from the outside. If I did that could I get anymore tire on these wheels?

Go with a 245 up front if you can fit it, more front end grip couldn't hurt especially with 265 rears.

the rear is gonna be a really close call. they'll be right on the fender lip with normal camber (like 1 degree), but should tuck under rolled inner lip with more camber.
you might need a slight pull, but it shouldnt be noticable

Yea, after talking to my body man I am not going to roll the fender. This car is two perfect to risk cracking paint. I looks like I might stay with the 9" wheel in back and just stay with a 255. I don't know how well a 265/40/17 fits on a 9" wheel.

So, with the 31 offset on the 17x8.5 front can someone tell me if the 235/40/17 seems to be a safe decision.

The thing about the 17x8 wheel for the front is that the only two offsets available are a 45 or 37.

Thanks for you guys input. This is hard when everything has to be shipped from different suppliers, put together and then test fitted. If it doesn't fit........
