oem fd strut bar styles

theres the 93-95 with pillowball on 1 side.. and the 96+ that doesn't have the pillowball.. is there a benefit to either one of these over the other.. searched can't find an answer. there must be a reason mazda switched the bar construction... cost?

Functional wise they are exctly the same. Buy whichever one you can get the best deal on.
