hi all

just bought some 2nd hand JDM FD suspension units, basically everything but the top mounts...

the 4 black have 2 flashes of orange/red painted on 1 of the coils

this normally is some kind of grading as to stiffness...

checked up the suspension/ technical information section of the pdf service manual for usa 93 FD and it says

"front, coil spring, identification mark color, blue"

and

"rear, coil spring, identification mark color, white"

anyone know what the difference is between spring types, or able to point me to site that explains it?
