Can Walt/ext 372 (thats the ext I think, been awhile since I've called haha) be our Tirerack rep?
About damn time Tire Rack woke up and smelt the coffee here. For the FD Rx7, I've bought three sets of wheels, numerous sets of tires, and brake pads from Tire Rack. As funds become available I plan to outfit the BMW M3/4-door with BBS RG-Rs/Sport Contact 2s, Brembo big brake kit, and suspension components from Tire Rack. FWIW they also sponsor a few of the Bimmerphile and M3 Suspension/Wheel/Tire/Brake forums. Now about those discounts...

Discounts on SSR Comps, GT1s.
Discounts on BBS RG-Rs.
And they should quit posting weak-*** widths for the FD Rx7 wheel selection section. Who in their right mind would buy 7- or 8-inch wide widths for 17 or 18 diameters?
Tire Rack should just post 8.5 wides as minimum widths.
The word must have gotten out about 9 wides, 45-mm offset fitting up front b/c there are no 9 x 17, 45-mm SSR GT2s left LOL.
C'mon Tire Rack, own up to the fact that 9 wides will fit with the right tire size and offset LOL...

Car looks suh-wheet! I love clean FDs with nice wheels sans the gaudy bodykits

Did Tire Rack give you any grief for ordering four rear fitment-only wheels for the FD Rx7 LOL? What tires and tire sizes did you get?
Enjoy

Well, I ordered them thru a tire/wheel shop locally, so I simply gave them the specs without telling them the car model
One of the wheels came with a slight ding (from shipping) so I got it for half price (you can hardly see it).
The tires are Kuhmo Ectasa MX 255/40/17 all around.
The fitment is pretty darned good all around (thanks for the tips, Manny)
The front driver side touches the inner wheel well on sharp right turns, but that's due to some missing bodywork fasteners which are supposed to hold that flabby black plastic in place.
The entire wheel/tire unit is about 0.5-0.75 inches taller than stock, so the car seems to sit a touch higher.
I do not like the wings and bodykits, either. IMO Mazda got it right, right from the start.

good luck with the discount... Tirerack doesn't really seem to do discounts on other board they sponsor either that I've seen..
they will post closeouts specials and things like that, but no "club discounts" that I've seen...
